We went down to Sarasota, FL for a mini family vacation last weekend. It was AWESOME!!! FYI for any future visitors we will be taking you here! So Jason gets points for traveling and staying in Hotels. So we decided to use some of his points to take the family and stay two nights, three days down in Sarasota. The first day we went to Lido Beach which was great, and we loved that it was connected to a park/picnic/fishing area as well. It was on the windy side that day, but the kids never came out of the water. The following day we went to Siesta Key, which is known to be one of the top beaches in the country. I can truly say that statement is accurate. It was just breath taking. The sand was seriously silk! I could have slept on it. It was green blue water and the day was perfect! The kids loved building sand castles and Jason even berried Avery and Chase in the sand. Avery go the biggest kick out of this. People would walk by and just stare and laugh at how cute she was. Chase is seriously obsessed with "Spider Man" and thought it was so cool to be barred up to his neck with sand so he could call himself "Sand Man"! All in all it was relaxing, and not to mention entertaining! We plan to do this more in the summer, and I cant wait to go back. Florida Rocks!!!
