Carson and his swim teacher
It's about time we get these boys in swimming lessons since moving to Florida. It just always seemed to work out that when we wanted to sign them up something interfered. This time we got really lucky and right in our neighborhood they started swimming lessons. Yay for us since we live just 7 houses down from our community pool. This is such a blessing for me since it means I don't have to drive over 20 minutes to get to the swimming lessons we were going to have to sign them up for. So now I get the boys ready in about two minutes and spray them with sunscreen and we walk to our pool. The boys just finished there last lesson on Thursday. They each got a certificate and a sticker for completing there level. Carson is a natural at swimming but needed to learn to float on his stomach and back. He picked it up the first two lessons. He did great! Chase is my one who never cared to be in the water. Chase only likes to use a floaty and sit and float around the pool. Now that he learned a few skills and how to swim to the wall he is jumping in the pool. He now says "Mom watch me swim watch me swim" It is so funny how opposite he is now. Chase was so funny to watch at lessons. He was constantly taking to the teacher about "Ben 10 Alien Force" if you don't know what that is just google it. It is a cartoon that he loves. So the swim teacher kept having to just nod her head and refocus him. Chase will be currently taking the next level in swim lessons this Monday. He will learn to float and swim a longer distance. He is excited that he gets to do it again. Carson on the other hand won't be able to take the next level. He has Cub Scott Camp all next week and so we will have to continue him at another time. This has been a great experience for my boys and also my self to see them grow in another area. Good job boys!
