Career Day At School

About six months ago we were in Costco eating a hot dog. Chase out of the blue says "Mom I know what I want to be when I grow up"
Me " Whats that Chase"?
Chase says very seriously " I want to be a DVD store owner"!!
Me " Laughing to myself "Are you sure thats what you want to be"?
Chase " Yep"!
Me " Well all right then"

Chase had to dress up for career day at school last Friday. The teacher asked them to pick what they wanted to be when they grow up and try to dress as close to that as possible. If you know Chase then you know how much he loves DVD's. His favorite thing in the whole world is to go to Blockbuster. All the employees know Chase by name when he walks in. He loves Super Hero movies, and pretty much any cartoon. The closest Blockbuster to are house closed down this last spring. Chase was devastated. He really was upset. When we drive by the closed down Blockbuster still today he always says "Well there was my favorite store in the whole world". Poor kid, the joy he had walking into that place will forever be burned into our memories.

So as you can see in the pictures below Chase chose to be a DVD store owner. He was one happy kid that morning :)
