Daytona Beach Day!

All right, today we decided to head to Daytona Beach with the kids. Saturdays are beach days (if it is not raining) and for us its our favorite day. The Allers love the beach. It was really cool, we got there, paid a few bucks and we were able to drive on the beach and park. So we had no walking to get the water. We thought it was so convenient not having to haul the kids and the toys to the water. We picked a spot, the lotion went on and the kids ran to the water. Jason usually is the one to take the kids out and play. Avery and I love to sit by the shore, let the waves crash into us and collect sea shells. Since Daytona Beach is on the Atlantic Ocean side there were very strong waves and the water was very cold! We usually go to the Gulf side and the water is warm with no waves. The kids got a kick out of the waves, but they would get mad every time the waves knocked over their sand castles. We had a great time and no one got hurt or got a sun burn, so two thumbs up! Also before we left we did a good deed by helping jump start someone's truck that had died. We had fun and were able to save the day! We also drove by the famous Daytona International Speedway... it's huge! We are hoping to try different beaches every week so until next time." Cowabunga Dude"!!

Avery has an adorable habit of giving Jason kisses at random times. I happened to catch one on film... She was quite pleased with herself.

Today Jason kept dropping wet sand on Avery's leg. She would then get up and try to stomp it off her leg... to no avail. It was quite humorous.
